My Brother and I went to the “Game of Thrones: The Exhibition” in Stockholm on Saturday, March 7, when it opened.

We got there just before 10am and we queued for about 4 hours and 15 minutes to get inside. I knew that the queue would already be long when we got there but I was happy that it wasn't longer than it was because I had kind of expected it to be even longer. While we were queuing the queue obviously just became longer and longer and at one point it went around the whole Kungsträdgården. After we had queued for about 2 hours or something we heard that the queue was closed for the day. As I wrote before the Exhibition would be open from 10am to 8pm every day while the Exhibition is here but the queue closed for the day already at around 12pm. I think the queue was the longest on the opening day which is probably what you can expect on the first day and especially since the first people arrived at 5am to start queuing but I read in the Facebook event afterward that some people got in after queuing for about 1 hour on other days.

It was obviously tiresome to queue for more than 4 hours since we just stood there and waited the whole time and it was pretty cold outside and it was also windy which made it even colder. When I came home I put on my pajama pants, a warm sweater, my down slippers and even a pair of thin cotton mittens that I have and laid under a blanket on the sofa and it took some hours before I got warm again. Besides having to queue for that long outside in the cold the only thing I didn't like about the Exhibition was that once we got inside there was another queue to “The Wall”. They had 3 interactive things you could do inside the Exhibition and the 4D experience of going up in an elevator to The Wall was one of them. It was also the only interactive thing I knew about before we got inside and the only thing that I wanted to do. But when we had already queued for over 4 hours it was a bit disappointing to see another queue and there was a sign that said that you would have to queue for about 1 hour and I felt like I was just too tired to be able to queue for another whole hour so we didn't do that even though I would have wanted to try it.

Besides that, it was obviously fun and interesting to see all the things from the show and I recognized almost everything. I also took photos of everything at the Exhibition and a few photos ended up blurry unfortunately but other than those I've included all of the photos in this blog-post so if you weren't able to go to the Exhibition you can at least see the photos that I took inside.
