My 2018 in Music.

This is my 2018 in Music according to Spotify!
I've listened to 17,693 minutes of music in 2018 so far.
My Top Genre is still Pop.
My Top Artists are HIM, Avicii, Ghost, Demi Lovato and Kygo.
I spent 19 hours listening to HIM. HIM will always be one of my favorite bands indeed and I'm so sad they disbanded last year, and I'm even sadder that I didn't even know about their last tour until it was too late and their last dates were sold out when I checked. I saw them live 2 times but I would've loved to see them live one last time on their last tour but I didn't get the chance to do so, so I've "tortured" myself with listening to them a lot instead.
It's in the stars. I listened to more Virgo artists - like Avicii and Kygo - than any other star sign. This is funny to me since I'm a Virgo myself! Apparently, I'm drawn to Virgo artists and many artists I like are also Virgos? Interesting!
My favorite musical subgenre is Dance Pop. There are about 2,872,196 listeners who love this type of music as much as I do.
I started 2018 by listening to “Despacito - Remix” by Luis Fonsi, and the first artist I discovered was Wisin. With all the new music coming out, I still found time for oldies like “(What A) Wonderful World - Remastered” recorded 1960 by Sam Cooke.

Ed Sheeran @ Friends Arena today!

Tonight I'm going to see Ed Sheeran at Friends Arena! ♥
I'm going to the concert with my friend Veronica.
We wanted to see him last year when he was in Stockholm, Sweden for the first time but unfortunately we didn't get tickets to that concert. I've never experienced not managing to get tickets to a concert while trying to book them before so that was a first for me that hopefully won't ever happen again.
So, we didn't get to see Ed last year and now it's been a bit more than a year since we booked the tickets to the concert today so we have waited and looked forward to this for more than a year and today's the day!
We have both been fans of Ed's music for many years so I'm sure that it will be amazing to get to hear his music live, and that the whole concert will be a beautiful and cosy experience that we will remember. ♥

Tonight I'm going to see Beyoncé and Jay-Z at Friends Arena! ♥
I'm going to the concert with my Brother. We saw Beyoncé together in 2016 at the same arena and we agreed that we would go see her when she comes back so tonight we'll see her again.
The 2 previous Beyoncé concerts I've been to are both among the best concerts I've ever been to, and I've been to many concerts, so I'm sure that tonight will be just as amazing!
Demi Lovato - Tell Me You Love Me World Tour @ Annexet, Stockholm, Sweden.

I'm going to the concert with my cousin Elin and it starts at 7:30 pm. Before the concert we're going to eat dinner together. ♥
I've been a fan of Demi for 10 years now, since the start of her music career. So it's really fun that she finally has come to Sweden and I really look forward to getting to see her LIVE tonight! ♥
Rest in peace, Avicii.

Rest in peace, ΛVICII.
1989 – 2018.Gone too soon at 28 years old.
He will be a Swedish legend forever. 💙💛
❝WE ALL REACH A POINT IN OUR LIVES AND CAREERS WHERE WE UNDERSTAND WHAT MATTERS THE MOST TO US. For me it’s creating music. That is what I live for, what I feel I was born to do.❞ – Avicii.
❝When you get older
Your wild heart will live for younger days
Think of me if ever you're afraid
He said, one day you'll leave this world behind
So live a life you will remember❞
– The Nights, Avicii.
I have so many Avicii songs on my playlists and I've listened to them countless times, and I will continue to listen to them. I especially remember that my Brother and I used to sing his song “Hey Brother” to each other so that one is extra special to me. ♥
You can watch the “Avicii: True Stories” documentary on SVT Play here. ♥
My 2017 in Music.

This is my 2017 in Music according to Spotify!
I've listened to 15,495 minutes of music in 2017 so far.
My Top Genre is Pop.
My Top Artists are Ed Sheeran, Def Leppard, Flo Rida, INNA and Pitbull.

My Top Genre is Pop.
My Top Artists are Ed Sheeran, Def Leppard, Flo Rida, INNA and Pitbull.
My Top Songs are “Sommar sommar sol” - JLC (JLC is a Swedish YouTuber trio, apparently I actually liked this song, haha), “Hysteria” - Def Leppard, “The Touch” - KOLAJ, “100 Degrees” - KOLAJ and “Ecuador - Original Mix” - Sash!.
My Top Songs is a quite interesting mix; a Swedish “joke” song, a rock ballad and “party” songs.
Spotify also told me: “You skipped 576 songs this year, which means your trigger finger is more active than most. Maybe start listening with a fidget-spinner in hand?” which sounds quite funny to me. I do know that I skip many songs, but most of my playlists are filled with so many songs and sometimes certain songs don't speak to me or my current mood but I still like them and don't want to remove them from my playlist.

Hans Zimmer today!

Tonight I'm going to see Hans Zimmer at Globen!
I'm going to the concert with my friend Christopher and it starts at 8 pm.
Hans Zimmer will have a band with 15 people, an orchestra and a choir. There will be a total of 60 musicians on stage.
The concert consists of two parts: The first part consists of some of Hans Zimmer's legendary movie themes like “Gladiator”, “The Lion King” and “Pirates of the Caribbean”. And the second part consists of completely new versions of the music from “Inception” and “The Dark Night” trilogy.
Hans Zimmer has written music for over 120 movies and for his work he's been awarded 1 Oscar, 2 Golden Globes, 3 Grammys, 1 American Music Award and 1 Tony Award.
This is the first time Hans Zimmer will perform in Scandinavia.
I'm sure that this concert will be a really cool and fun experience and I'm really looking forward to it!
❝The Phantom of the Opera❞ today!

Tonight I'm going to see “The Phantom of the Opera” at Cirkus!
I'm going to see it with my friend Johanna and it starts at 7:30 pm.
I've never seen a musical live before so I'm excited that “The Phantom of the Opera” will be the first musical I get to see since it's one of the most successful musicals in the world! But the biggest reason why I wanted to see it is because one of my favorite artists Peter Jöback is playing the title role as “The Phantom”.
Peter played the same role in “The Phantom of the Opera” in London 2012 and New York 2013 and now the third time he's playing the same role in “The Phantom of the Opera” in his/our hometown Stockholm! He will probably not be a part of this musical again and definitely not in Stockholm anyway so of course I couldn't miss the chance to see him star in the big musical that “The Phantom of the Opera” is!
Tickets to Hans Zimmer Live in Stockholm!

I just booked my tickets to Hans Zimmer Live in Stockholm on May 18, 2017!
I'm going to the concert with my friend Christopher.
Everyone who loves movies and their soundtracks probably know of Hans Zimmer. If you don't know of him, he's probably made the soundtrack to at least one movie that you love.
Since he's a composer and not a singer, I had no idea that he did concerts. I just stumbled upon a Facebook post about Hans Zimmer Live a few weeks ago and immediately knew that I wanted to go. As far as I know, he doesn't do concerts regularly anywhere and this is the first time he will perform in Scandinavia so I know that this will be a memorable and once-in-a-lifetime experience and I already look forward to it!
“In 2017 Hans Zimmer will be performing in Scandinavia for the first time. ‘Hans Zimmer Live On Tour’ comes to Ericsson Globe, Stockholm on May 18.
Hans, whose music can currently be heard in BBC 1’s ‘Planet Earth II’ and the Netflix phenomenon ‘The Crown’ will be joined onstage by his 15 piece studio band, along with an orchestra and choir bringing the total number of musicians on stage to over 60.
The ‘Hans Zimmer Live On Tour’ concerts will be in two parts: the first being some of Zimmer’s classic movie scores including Gladiator, The Lion King and Pirates of the Caribbean and more and the second featuring re-imagined versions of some classic scores such as The Dark Knight Trilogy and Inception with special guests from the rock and pop world.”
Ballet Gala - The best of Tjaikovski.

Tonight I'm going to see a ballet for the first time in my life!
My Mom saw an ad about this ballet in the Metro newspaper some week ago and showed it to me since she knows that I have been wanting to go and see a real ballet. So I asked my uncle if he wanted to go with me to see this ballet and he agreed and it also ended up being my belated Birthday present from him. To get to see a real Russian ballet the first time I see a ballet is definitely a good Birthday present!
This ballet is called “Balettgala - Det bästa av Tjaikovski” (“Ballet gala - The best of Tjaikovski”) and it's a unique ballet performance that restores the Russian classical ballet tradition in the best way. This ballet only plays tonight on October 10, October 11 and October 12 at Intiman in Stockholm.
“The Ballet Gala includes a cavalcade of the most complicated and in its beauty unforgettable ballet performances combined with a concert where the audience gets enchanted by Tjaikovski's magical music. The implementation is like a magical ride surrounded by an ever-conquering power of love.
The program is dynamic and changes between solos and parts with a large number of dancers on scene simultaneously. A variety of magnificent costumes and scenography contribute to unforgettable experiences.
The artists honor the Bolshoi Theatre ballet traditions and carry the show entirely according to the original productions and the great Petipa's choreography, which will not leave anyone unaffected in the auditorium.
The Moscow Ballet consists of young highly creative and talented dancers with strong personalities. They have won several prestigious international competitions and has had success in many leading theaters around the world, but primarily on the world-famous Bolshoi Theatre. They also had a highly acclaimed tour recently in Italy, Switzerland, Spain, USA, Mexico and New Zealand.
Now it is Sweden's turn to enjoy the magic and elegance of this first-class ballet with the best dance numbers from “Swan Lake”, “Nutcracker” and “Sleeping Beauty” accompanied by the great and timeless music of Peter Tjaikovski.”
(I translated this from Intiman.)
As you can read above, this is a real Russian ballet with music from Peter Tjaikovski so it sounds very promising! I hope that it will live up to my expectations and that I will like it, but no matter what it will be very interesting to get to see a ballet for the first time in my life and it will be something that I can say that I've actually seen and experienced.

Tonight I'm going to see Beyoncé at Friends Arena! ♥
I'm going to the concert with my Brother and tonight will be the second time I get to see Beyoncé live! I still remember her concert at Ericsson Globe in 2007 as one of the best concerts I've ever been to (& I've been to quite many concerts) so I have no doubt that tonight's concert will be good!
The concert will start at 7 pm with the two opening acts Chloe X Halle and Ingrid.
I'll try to take a lot of photos at the concert tonight and you can expect to see them in a blog-post within a few days.
