I had to visit Ladurée when I was in Paris, to see and buy some real French macarons.

I couldn’t open the box since it’s a gift, but it was Ladurée cookies. I originally wanted to buy macarons for my Mama as a gift but I learned from Ladurée staff that macarons are only fresh for a few days after they are baked, and after that they have already expired, so I chose to buy her their cookies instead that lasts for some weeks.
