I stumbled upon Fioko Shop while walking in Paris.
I fell for the cuteness and became a gambler, so I walked out with a Mofusand hipper blind box and a Sanrio “Fall Asleep” blind box that I later opened at my hotel. I managed to get the secret Mofusand hipper, and for Sanrio I got one of the character versions I preferred.

It’s fun to see that Monchhichi has become so popular around the world again. 🐵
I have my own vintage Toho Daisuke monkey doll that looks similar to Monchhichi and it was created around the same time, but Toho Daisuke has moving doll eyes instead of painted eyes and some other smaller differences. My Mama gifted it to me when I was a child, and it’s even more precious to have it now when it’s vintage and Monchhichi dolls has become known and beloved yet again. 😻
