I got a e-mail from Plaza Magazine three weeks ago saying that I had won their Jim Rickey contest so I got to choose a pair of shoes that I wanted from the website and I obviously chose the ones above; “Carve Mid - Leather/Patent - Black”.

 

The Jim Rickey shoes are actually a shoe brand for men but who cares. I think most of their shoes looks like unisex shoes anyway and especially their sneakers. I chose the sneakers that I liked the most from their website and luckily they had them in my size. I usually have size 40 in shoes and that's the smallest size Jim Rickey have.

 

I used my shoes for the first time on Saturday but unfortunately I got big chafes on both my feet. I get chafes on my feet sometimes but I don't think I've ever gotten chafes that have been this big so that's unfortunate. I could barely walk home because it hurt so bad but luckily I don't have to go anywhere this week so hopefully that will help them heal if I stay inside and don't use any shoes for some days. I hope that I will be able to use my new shoes in the future without getting chafes, otherwise it's pretty unfortunate if I have to put band-aids on my feet every time I want to wear them.
