PLOT: “Super Sonico is an 18-year old college student who plays guitar for the three-girl band Fastest Speed in Space and models for pin-ups. In spite of her busy schedule, she still finds time to help her grandmother at her restaurant. One night, her band members Suzu and Fuuri, are late to a concert, forcing her to play alone. The result of that show will have far-reaching consequences for Sonico.”
MY THOUGHTS ABOUT “SONIANI: SUPER SONICO THE ANIMATION”:
STORY: 4/5. “SoniAni: Super Sonico The Animation” is about Super Sonico and her life as a college student, guitarist + singer in a band and a model.
CHARACTERS: 4/5. The main characters are Super Sonico, Suzu Fujimi, Fuuri Watanaki and Sonico's Grandmother. I think they managed to show all the characters personalities pretty good considering the series only have 12 episodes. Super Sonico is nice to everyone and always wants to do a good job as a model but she's a bit naive so she's lucky to have her manager (who's a bit weird but at least he does his job) with her. Super Sonico also have something in common with me; she's definitely not a morning person and she loves cats. Suzu loves music and she was the one who started their band. She's good at organizing things and help people. Fuuri is the drummer and she seems very care-free and she's happy as long as she have something to eat.
ART: 4/5. I have nothing to complain about when it comes to the art. I liked the characters and the surroundings.
MUSIC: 5/5. Since Super Sonico is in a band there's obviously some good music in the series!
