This is so true and also sad. I know people and I know of people that always wants to hang out with someone, which means that they never want to be alone, which means they never want to spend time with themselves, which in the end means that they don’t enjoy their own company or maybe don’t even like themselves.

I’ve loved the quote ❝The most important relationship you have in your life is with yourself, because no matter what happens, you will always be with yourself❞ by Diane Von Fürstenberg ever since I first heard it years ago in a “The City” episode. 
It’s 100% true and it’s also a really important quote, just because it’s so true. No matter what happens in life, you will always be with yourself. Which actually means that the most important relationship you have in your life is the one you have with yourself. You should be your own best friend and the most important person in your own life, because the only one you can and always should be able to rely on is yourself.

I could probably go on and on about this for a long time, but I’ll just end this with saying that this is something I definitely live my life after. 
I always respect myself and I always try to treat myself as good as I can, as you would treat your best friend I guess. Just like you wouldn’t want your best friend to do anything they will only feel bad about or you wouldn’t want them to waste their time by having people in their life who don’t deserve to be in it, treat yourself the same way and be your own best friend and I promise you that you will have and get a better relationship with yourself and most important; a better life with yourself.
