Today I also stopped by the optician Synoptik to see if my prescription sunglasses were ready.

They weren't waiting for me in the store but the woman who worked there asked me if she should go and check their post box and there they were. When I bought my new glasses I got to choose a pair of sunglasses for free!

That's a campaign that Synoptik is having now, so anyone who buys new glasses there will get to pick a pair of sunglasses for free. They're also showing their campaign on TV commercials and there they're saying that you get to choose a pair of Ray Ban sunglasses, but you actually get to choose a pair of sunglasses up to a certain prize so you don't have to choose Ray Ban.

I obviously looked at the sunglasses and not on the brands because I don't care about brands when it comes to glasses, I only care about how they look like. My sunglasses are from Björn Borg and I'm really happy with them! They're black with gray glass (the darkest glass that was available) and the sidepiece is black with a bit of purple as you can see in the photos above.

It's really great to finally have a pair of sunglasses I actually can see with! Haha.
I've only owned regular sunglasses before so whenever I've wanted to wear sunglasses I've had to have contact-lenses on, so I haven't worn sunglasses that often since I rarely have contact-lenses on.

And my poor eyes are sensitive to light and I have big pupils (the optician told me this too when she checked my eyes), so I should actually wear sunglasses whenever it's sunny outside. The optician also asked me if I've noticed that my eyes are sensitive to light, which I've obviously noticed since my eyes more or less scream “bright light, bright light!” like the Gremlins whenever it's sunny outside. My eyes also tear up really easy when it's sunny outside. I don't know if that has anything to do with my eyes being sensitive, but anyway, my new sunglasses will definitely help my sensitive eyes a lot!

I've already worn my new sunglasses when I went home from Synoptik today.

So now I can definitely say that I'm happy with them!
