Richard Griffiths died after complications following heart surgery.
He's best known for his portrayal of “Uncle Vernon” in the Potter series. He also starred in “Equus” with Daniel and in “Ballet Shoes” with Emma. He had an enormously successful and wide-ranging career in film, theatre, and television.
The Harry Potter community has once again lost one of our beloved actors, joining the likes of Richard Harris, Robert Knox, Elisabeth Spriggs and Eric Sykes.
