❝Beauty and the Beast❞.
“Beauty and the Beast” is an upcoming American television series based on the 1980s CBS series of the same name. It was picked up by The CW on May 11, 2012, and is scheduled to premiere this fall.
STORYLINE
The show centers on Catherine (Kristin Kreuk), a tough-minded NYPD Homicide Detective haunted by witnessing her mother’s murder nine years ago and the killers’ quick demise at the hands of a Beast. After years of searching, Catherine finally finds the Beast, Vincent Koslow (Jay Ryan), the survivor of a military experiment that went disastrously wrong, and becomes the protector of his secret life as a bestial superhero.
I will give this new TV-series a chance since it's a “Beauty and the Beast” story (and the original movie is one of my favorites!) and I've also liked Kristin Kreuk ever since I first saw her in “Smallville” and she plays the lead character in this new TV-series so I have to watch it because of her too.
I hope that the TV-series will turn out to be good so it will live up to it's name!
