Thank you avast! Mobile Backup app for saving my photos!

Do you have the avast! Mobile Backup app in your phone? If not, you should download it right away!

I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini mobile and I haven't been able to use it since Saturday morning because it keeps re-starting itself over and over again and there's not enough time to start doing anything before it re-starts itself again. I haven't really cared about not being able to use my mobile these past 6 days because I can survive without one, but I've been really worried about all of my photos in my mobile which have all been saved on the mobile memory. I have a lot of photos of Pika for example, which I obviously didn't want to lose.

Since the mobile keeps re-starting itself all the time I can't move my photos to the extern memorycard in the mobile and I can't connect the mobile to my computer to transfer the photos, so I've been really worried and sad that I might not be able to save all of my photos that I have in my phone and I haven't wanted to take my phone to a service center since I didn't want to lose all of my photos.

Samsung Service Center replied to my e-mail today that they won't be able to save my photos since the mobile will obviously keep re-starting for them too so they won't be able to save them either. But somehow I came to think of that I have a Google+ account connected to my phone (since I have an Android phone) and I know that I've been back-upping my mobile regularly so my photos should be saved somewhere. I found no photos on my Google+ account but then I checked Google Drive on my account and I found a folder called avast! Files and I've been back-upping my mobile with avast! Mobile Backup so there was ALL of my photos from my phone!

I thank the avast! Mobile Backup app and myself for having the app on my phone. Thanks to that ALL of my photos are safe and I've now saved them all to my computer!

SO THE LESSON OF ALL OF THIS IS:
1 − Always save all of your photos on a extern memorycard in your phone and NOT on the phone memorycard.
2 − Download avast! Mobile Backup and backup your phone and your photos will be saved on Google Drive.
Follow these 2 steps and all of your mobile photos should be safe.

I also have the normal avast! antivirus app which obviously protects the phone from virus, so I recommend that as well.

Now I'm going to try to factory reset my phone before it re-start itself again and if that doesn't work, I'll have to go to the Samsung service center so they can fix my phone for me. Wish me luck!
